Installation

QuoteFlex can be installed directly from the WordPress plugin directory or manually uploaded.

wp plugin install quoteflex --activate

Shortcode Reference

The main shortcode is [quoteflex]

Parameters:

  • setQuote set slug to display from
  • templateDisplay template: default, boxed, card, minimal
  • show_authorShow author name: yes or no

Examples:

[quoteflex]
[quoteflex set="inspiration"]
[quoteflex set="leadership" template="boxed"]

Gutenberg Blocks

QuoteFlex includes a native Gutenberg block for easy quote insertion. Search for "QuoteFlex" in the block inserter to add it to any page or post.

API Reference

QuoteFlex uses the Quotable.io API for quote searching and importing. All API calls are cached for performance.
